The Cottage Interior

The cottage is two full stories. Downstairs is a den/TV room, living room, kitchen, dining room, laundry room and a half bath. The front porch is flanked by the living room and the den. The front hall, accessed from the front porch, contains the stairway and doorways to the living room, den and dining room at the end of the hall, The kitchen adjoins the dining room and den, with the laundry room on the other side of the "back door." The half bath is off the dining room.

Upstairs there are five bedrooms and a "glassed in" sleeping porch off the master bedroom. Three of the bedrooms are large and two small. The larger of the small bedrooms has a single bed and is large enough for a fold-away cot (stored in the closet) - great for a couple of kids. The sleeping porch, accessed via french doors from the master bedroom, has a day bed with pop-up trundle, also great for two children.

Each of the two full baths upstairs has a tub/shower combination.

All told, the Cottage can comfortably handle up to 11 people, each with his or her own bed. If people don't mind pull out sofas, that number can be increased to 13.
