Shelburne Museum

Shelburne Museum - is one of the nation's finest, most diverse, and unconventional museums of art and Americana. Over 150,000 works are exhibited in a remarkable setting of 39 exhibition buildings, 25 of which are historic and were relocated to the Museum grounds, including the passenger steamship Ticonderoga (right).

Burlington - Located on the eastern shore of Lake Champlain between the Adirondack and Green Mountains, Burlington is one of America's most liveable cities.

Middlebury - a beautiful quintessential New England village with its white steepled church overlooking Main Street and its vibrant citizenry.

Stowe - Only Stowe combines a classic 200-year-old village with Mt. Mansfield, Vermont's highest peak. This unique juxtaposition imbues Stowe with a character reminiscent of great European mountain resorts. The world famous Trapp Family Lodge is one of the many places to see.

Vermont Islands - The islands of Lake Champlain, South Hero and North Hero which include North Hero State Park, Burton Island State Park, Knight Island State Park and Woods Island State Park are less than an hour by car from Burlington. See the Lipizzan Stallions perform during the summer.

Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Factory - Nestled in the Green Mountains, just north of the small town of Waterbury, the factory offers educational fun for everyone.

ECHO at the Leahy Center for Lake Champlain - People of all ages will enjoy ECHO, Vermont's premier lake aquarium and science center on Burlington's waterfront! ECHO features 20 aquatic habitats with over 60 species of animals and 100 interactive exhibits.

Lake Champlain Chocolates - named an Editors' Choice in the Yankee Magazine Travel Guide to New England, an honor reserved for noteworthy travel destinations. Free guided factory tours are offered weekdays on the hour from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the 750 Pine Street, Burlington, Vermont location.

Lake Champlain Cruises - Northern Lights, Vermont's premier cruise boat, offers daily scenic, lunch and brunch cruises. Weekly dinner cruises including entertainment.

Lake Champlain Maritime Museum - Discover why Lake Champlain is considered the most historic body of water in North America. Shelburne Farms - a 1,400-acre working farm, nonprofit environmental organization and National Historic Landmark located along the shores of Lake Champlain in Shelburne, Vermont. The farm welcomes visitors to explore its walking trails, milk a cow in the Children's Farmyard, see its farmhouse cheddar cheese being made or tour the historic landscape and buildings.

Spirit of Ethan Allen III - Lake Champlain's only 500-passenger cruise ship and dining yacht. Three private decks, enclosed, heated, and air conditioned; on-board galley, executive chef, food, beverage, and entertainment packages.

Vermont Teddy Bear Company - Vermont Teddy Bear Company is the largest maker of hand-crafted, American-made Teddy Bears! Embraced by the scenic Green Mountains, Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains, the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory colors the countryside in beautiful Shelburne, Vermont, USA.

Church and Maple Glass Studio - Church and Maple Glass Studio creates original hand-blown glass at their open studio in Burlington. Glassblowing demonstrations are available daily. Their functional glass art can be found in galleries across the country, online, and at their in-studio shop.

Church Street Marketplace - With nearly 100 retail shops, restaurants and street vendors, the Church Street Marketplace in Burlington is a popular destination for shopping, dining and people watching. Vermont Hand Crafters - Vermont's oldest and largest multi-media craft organization promoting two high quality all-Vermont craft shows. A non-profit dedicated to the advancement of its 280 members through publication of the Guide to Vermont Hand-Crafted Products, an annual scholarship program and workshops.
